My boy Bishop Nehru dropped an EP this week with Las Vegas up-and-comer Dizzy Wright, and it perfectly exemplifies why so many big names in the rap game have taken such an interest in the 17 year old New York rapper. Including underground legend MF Doom whom he is dropping an album this year sometime titled NehruvianDOOM, that will definitely be something else. With producers such as DOOM, Ghost McGrady, J.Dilla, Madlib, and even Disclosure already making beats for this youngster it is no doubt that 2014 will be a huge breakout year for this talented rapper. Take a listen to his EP with Dizzy Wright and be on the lookout for NehruvianDOOM.
Always got my eyes out for anything with the name Disclosure tied to it, whether that be a remix, original piece, or collaboration. This collaboration perfectly encompasses Disclosure’s UK garage sound and is definitely easy to get jiggy with. The video is pretty interesting as well.

GANZ a producer out of Amsterdam, Netherlands has been delivering incredible flips for over a year now. Previous flips include “Tell Me” by RL Grime and What So Not, Hermitude and Flume’s “Hyperparadise”, AlunaGeorge’s “Superstar”, and many more. His most recent flip of A$AP Rocky’s Ghetto Symphony arguably is one of his best yet, utilizing the original drop in the song as his drop but delivering something you would not expect. BBNG coming off their recently released third studio album “III”, have been hard at work making remixes, such as the remix of Shame featuring Freddie Gibbs, as well as dropping some new original material like this song featuring two rappers at the top of their games Ghostface and Brown. Spitting over a haunting back beat, Ghostface and Brown go in bar after bar reminiscing on the past and rapping vividly thorough verses that will have you questioning the nature of the song. Take a listen, or take a couple like me.
I was fortunate enough to see Jurassic 5 at the kick-off of their 2013 tour on the Outdoor Stage at Coachella, and they were hands down one of the best sets I saw all weekend. They just released their first new song since 2006 and picked up right where they left off. Featuring visuals at Red Rocks in my beautiful home state and keeping true to their style, “The Way We Do It” will be frequenting my playlists all summer long.
